Brain Scans

In the "Reading Wars," it is important to understand what the research is valid, what it says, and how that impacts the way we teach children to read and write.  This is a critical component to understanding the "right and wrong ways" to provide the critical skills that impact every aspect of our lives - reading.

Not all research is created equal and that is also a critical piece of the puzzle.  Many publishing houses and educational researchers will say their data adheres to scientific principles, but in truth they do not.

​

The science that supports Structured Literacy is vast and spread across numerous sites.  Below we attempt to host a solid collection of data to support the science that is Structured Literacy.
